“The NASA technology that walked on the moon now runs on Earth.”
This ad highlights the Dynacoil system of KangaROOS, made from a “3D synthetic monofilament”
This shoe had some great cushioning and control, according to the ad print. It states, “Dynacoil surpassed all the other training shoes. In peak force, impact value and medio-lateral control.”

I really enjoy many of these retro ads. I do still have my Roos Dynacoils!! And my New Balance 700s,…which I used for the marathon in my first Ironman. And I had Badwater 146s,…with replaceable heel pods. These ads are a real trip. Thanks!
I’m glad that you’re enjoying them Gary. I’ve had just as much fun perusing the old magazines for them!
thank you for that ad, as the dynacoil was rereleased now, its my first time i own it. i like retro sneakers. and this is my favourite at the moment. wonder if they still use the same technology inside the sole. but it feels awesome 🙂
That’s interesting Gerry, if it is a faithful reproduction of the original, I’m sure it has the coils!
