Turntec wanted this shoe to protect runners from the abuse that they might feel while out running. Turntec didn’t pan out as a company, but I think that it was due to poor management rather than a sub-standard product. Leave a comment!
In 40 years of running these were the finest shoes I ever wore, by some margin.
Never had a pair of the the shoes, but Turntec sold the Z02 sockliners as a separate item. I was wearing Asics Gel Strikers back then and liked the control but wanted more cush. I added a Turntec sockliner and that’s the setup I ran my first marathon on. Brings back good memories!
